Spirit of Birmingham Inaugural Release - Aon. CASK STRENGTH. Just 118 numbered bottles produced.

SOB have been blown away by the reaction to their Inaugural Whiskey & the rumours are true!  They kept a little back to bottle at cask strength.  At 55%abv, those cheeky little party animal angels made sure they had their fun… they seem to prefer liquid from their virgin Staffordshire Oak casks!  

The make-up of Aon Cask Strength has a greater quantity of ex-bourbon - roughly 60/40 ex-bourbon to virgin oak. A delicious drop, fruitier on the nose with more concentrated sweetness, still easy drinking at 55% and the chocolate malt really comes to the fore. 

Spirit of Birmingham's signature mixed mash-bill, pot still whiskey. The first whiskey ever produced in their hometown of Birmingham.

70cl, 55%ABV, Naturally presented.

Mashbill - Traditionally floor malted heritage grains: malted Maris Otter barley, un-malted flaked barley, malted oats, malted rye & chocolate malt.

Babylon - first fill, ex Buffalo Trace
Capricorn - virgin Staffordshire oak
Electric - virgin Staffordshire oak
Gnawa - first fill, ex Buffalo Trace
