Orange wine, also known as skin-contact white wine, is a type of wine made from white grapes where the grape skins are not removed during fermentation, resulting in a distinct orange or amber hue and unique flavour profile.

This winemaking technique, similar to how red wines are made, involves macerating the juice with the skins and seeds, which imparts colour, tannins, and aromatic complexity to the finished wine.
