Lakes Brew Co

Lakes Brew Co is a craft brewery located in Kendal, Cumbria, founded in 2020 by four former colleagues from Hawkshead Brewery: Michelle Gay, Matt Clarke, Steve Ricketts, and Paul Sheldon.

Leveraging their combined decades of experience in the brewing industry, the team established the brewery during the initial COVID-19 lockdown after being made redundant. Their mission is to produce high-quality, modern, and hop-forward beers.

The entire operation, from brewing on a 16hl SSV brew kit to canning with their own MicroCan line, is managed in-house at their facility on the Mintsfeet Industrial Estate. This hands-on approach allows them to maintain complete control over the quality and consistency of their products.
