Cantillon Cuvee Saint Gilloise 750ml

Originally created in 2004 to celebrate the success of Brussels' local football club, Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (formerly known as Cuvée Champions) is a distinctive variation on two year old single batch lambic. 

Unlike a traditional Gueuze, which blends young and old lambics, Saint-Gilloise uses exclusively two year old lambic that is cold-hopped (dry-hopped) in stainless steel tanks with fresh hops before being bottled with a touch of priming sugar to spark re-fermentation. 

The result is a bright, straw-gold wild ale that harmonises Cantillon’s crisp, citrusy tartness with a vibrant, herbaceous, and floral hop bouquet.
