Perfect for sustainable sipping, our Discarded Banana Peel Rum is where we turn an icon of waste into an icon of taste!

It’s a fruity, sweet rum which features a base of Caribbean rum, (originally used to season empty whisky casks at William Grant and Sons) before being blended with an extract made from banana peels. Rumour has it that it tastes like liquid banana bread, but we will let you find out for yourselves!

As an extract, banana peel provides toffee notes with a fruity balance. Flavours of banoffee pie and sticky toffee pudding, with the deep fruity milk chocolate raisins, accompanied by a crystallised ginger finish.

Delicious served neat over ice, mixed with ginger ale, or used as the base to a Daiquiri.

Aroma: Banana bread, treacle, cinnamon, butterscotch.

Taste: The banana bread nose gives way to banoffee pie on the palate, with notes of sticky toffee pudding, fudge and milk chocolate raisins.

Finish: A warming crystalized ginger.
