Midland Press

Midland Press was founded in 2024 by Richard Stenton, driven by a passion for English wine. The winery is based in a railway arch in central Birmingham, chosen for its ideal, cool conditions for winemaking.

The company sources high-quality grapes from central England, working with expert growers. Its focus is on Pinot Noir (Précoce and classic), Pinot Blanc, and select hybrid varieties traditionally grown in the Midlands.

Midland Press employs a minimal intervention, small-batch winemaking approach. Wines are fermented in barrels or small tanks, aged on lees, hand-blended, and bottled in-house.
