Legent Kentucky Straight Bourbon 70cl

Legent is a modern, elevated bourbon born of a collaboration between American and Japanese whiskey craftsmanship — specifically Fred Noe (seventh-generation Master Distiller at James B. Beam Distilling Co.) and Shinji Fukuyo (fifth ever Chief Blender at Suntory Holdings Limited). 

It’s a straight Kentucky bourbon bottled at 94 proof (47 % ABV) that uses premium grain, pure Kentucky limestone water and a base bourbon aged in new charred oak, some of which is then finished in red-wine and sherry casks before blending back together.

Tasting wise, you’ll find a balance of classic bourbon backbone (oak, caramel, vanilla) with layered fruit, spice and wine-cask influence — raisins, dates, berries, leather and dry oak all show up in the mix.
