Bristol Beer Factory
The Bristol Beer Factory (BBF) is an independent brewery based in South Bristol, a city with a rich brewing history. Founded in 2004, before the widespread "craft beer" movement had fully taken hold in the UK, BBF has become a significant player in the local and national beer scene.
Beyond brewing, BBF has a strong commitment to its community. In 2023, they launched "Brewed to Give," an initiative that donates 2% of every brewery sale to local Bristol charities and causes. This program, which has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for the city, earned them the **Community Engagement Award** at the SIBA Business Awards in 2025.
BBF's ethos combines a respect for brewing tradition with a forward-thinking approach to business and community involvement. Their new state-of-the-art brewery, opened in 2025, includes a focus on sustainability, with technology to reduce their carbon footprint.
